About

The Wireless Theatre Company is a new project designed to nurture and encourage fresh new writers, and up and coming acting talent and bring audio drama to the "iPod generation". All our plays our written, cast, directed, produced and edited by our enthusiastic and talented team and although we are based in central London, our writers are from all over the world.

Welcome to our new look website, a present to ourselves for having a successful and hugely enjoyable first year, with over 30 productions on the site and endless exciting projects in the pipeline.

Our productions are FREE and easy to download and we pride ourselves on producing interesting, eclectic, challenging and innovative work on a regular basis. We are open to suggestion and ideas and thank everyone for all their contributions this far.

We believe that bringing a theatre company of this nature to the internet is a positive cultural contribution as the nature of audio plays is particularly suited to performance and publications of work by a large cross section of the community; we encourage and support any contributors, and will often employ actors with disabilities who may otherwise find it difficult to get their work performed.
