Coming Soon - Wireless Theatre KIDS!

Launching in September 2010, Wireless Theatre Kids is set to take children’s entertainment by storm with a new and exciting website which will be a valuable resource for children, parents and teachers all over the world.  

WTK aims to enhance, stimulate and touch the minds and hearts of children from many diverse cultures and countries. In a world that is being rapidly dominated by visual stimulants,  where kids get instant gratification at the touch of a button, and where the use of imaginiation is at a minimum, WTK are offering a variety of options from books, plays and poetry to download, alongside educational programmes using visual and interactive on-screen methods. Using traditional story-telling combined with a modern day approach via the use of our interactive website. 

WTK’s goal is to develop a love of theatre and literature within those aged 3 to 15 years, to develop communication and vocabulary and stimulate imagination and creativity.  We also hope to help those who may struggle with the written word, or may not have access to reading material by bringing them a comprehensive library of audio material.

As with WTC, We aspire to play host to writers new and old, whether they be the creators of traditional tales, modern classics, contemporary poetry or cutting-edge children’s drama. 

Given the continued success within schools of the Wireless Theatre in Education workshops, we ask you to support us in our launch of this exciting new venture, to keep theatre and books alive for generations to come.
