Due to an overwhelming number of submissions (thank you!) we are not accepting any new scripts until Feb 2012. If you have sent us a submission recently and not heard from us, please be patient while we spend time in a small room with lots of coffee reading. Thank you!

We welcome submissions from playwrights with scripts which are suitable for radio. If we like your radio play and all is agreed, then Wireless Theatre Company will produce, edit and upload the audio play for the public’s listening pleasure!

General Submission Guidelines

• Scripts must be in audio script format and in readable font - if you would like an example of a script in audio format, please email us and we'll happily send you one. Scripts in the correct format will be read first.


• Must include your name and contact details on the first page.


• Send scripts as an attachment in WORD or PDF format only – not in the body of your email.


• Cover letters introducing yourself and any relevant experience get read first, it's just easier for us as we have so many scripts sent over.


• Do not submit multiple scripts at a time.


• The Wireless Theatre Company will not produce something which has already been agreed by another audio production company.


• We will, occasionally, present productions which have already been recorded – providing they match the audio quality of previous WTC productions

 

• Writers are permitted to attend rehearsals, but not the final recording.

 

Writers retain copyright of their scripts, WTC own the copyright of the production. 

Due to the high number of submissions we recieve, you will only hear from us if your submission is successful. 

 

Once Accepted

Your scripts may be edited for structure, typos and continuity. You may occasionally be asked for re-writes.

 

Due to the high number of productions we already have lined up, it may be many months before your script is produced. But it will be worth the wait!

Actors


In the same way, we welcome applications from actors and actresses. Once you become a member of the performance team then you will become part of of the company and will undoubtedly be involved in more plays, if you are interested. 

 

Please contact us with a covering email, containing the details of your Spotlight and/or Casting Call Pro page, especially if you have online voice or showreels to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Voicereels are ideal if possible.

 

You may not get a reply when you send us your details, as we are lucky enough to recieve many applications. But all actor submissions are read and are kept on file, and are used when casting for future productions.
