Clare Reddaway escaped television drama to indulge in an MA in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University.  She writes theatre and radio scripts, and stories for adults and children.  

 

Her play Highly Satisfactory won a Writing Histories competition and is about to be recorded by Crystal Clear Creators.  Her short play Credit Crunch was performed by Menagerie at the Hotbed Festival, Cambridge as part of their One Page Compathon. Three of her (very) short plays were performed by WRiTEON in Cambridge this summer.   

 

Her play John The Baptist was recently shortlisted for the ‘Pint-Sized Plays’ competition in Pembrokeshire.   She is a member of the live short fiction group Heads and Tales, performing at regular storytelling evenings in Bristol and at the Secret Garden Festival in Huntingdon.  One of her stories was  recently short listed for The Academy of Children’s Writers’ Competition.  She has had short stories and articles published and is a regular book reviewer for Inc Writers Magazine and The Small Press Review.
