Matt graduated with BA Hons in drama from John Moores university in1994.

Theatre credits include: Bob in Feel The Plastic, Thessalus in The Rival Queens, Yegor in The Suicide at The BAC, Tony Richmond in Life and Soul at The Old Fire Station Oxford, and Sly The Naughty Goblin in a number one tour of Noddy.

He has also played Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing and The Prince in Romeo and Juliet as Part of The Cambridge Shakespeare Festival.

More recently Matt has played both the parts of Eric and Gerald in An Inspector Calls directed by Stephen Daldry, and understudied Matthew and Barry in Misconceptions with Jemma Redgrave. For The Clerkenwell Theatre Company, Matt has played Nanny in Baby With The Bathwater, and Antonio and Launcelot Gobbo in The Merchant of Venice. Television includes: Family Affairs and The Lenny Henry Show.
