Matthew trained at RSAMD and LAMDA. His theatre credits include Finalist Sitcom Trials 2007, Soho Theatre; Gaslight, The Old Vic; The Princess and the Pea, The Castle, Wellingborough; The Changing Room, Royal Court; Hamlet and Twelfth Night, Southwark Playhouse; Enemies, The Almeida; One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Broadway Studio Theatre, Catford; Of Mice and Men, Shaw Theatre; Petrograd, The Pleasance, Edinburgh; Merry Wives of Windsor, touring.

Voiceover - Middle Sex and The Tank Man for Channel 4. Film - Various short films, including Just One More Thing, Lucky Beat, Top Dog, Closed Circut and Wicked Good with Gavin Bernard. Matthew has just completed somevoiceover work for Channel 4 on a documentary entitled The Qur'an directed by Anthony Thomas.
