James Parkes

James trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), after which he made his professional debut in The Mayor of Zalemea (Liverpool Everyman Theatre).

Since graduating theatre credits include: Banquo in Macbethwith The Lord Chamberlains Men, Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (Union Theatre), The Hired Man (Landor Theatre), Dr Watson in Sherlock Holmes (International Tour), Blood Brothers (First Group Theatre, Dubai), Charles in Alan Bennett’s Enjoy (Theatre Royal Bath/Gielgud Theatre), Oberon & Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Cambridge Open Air Theatre), Around the World in Eighty Days (Vienna’s English Theatre), Slava in Brezhnev’s Children (Battersea Arts Centre)Mr Peachum in The Threepenny Opera (Lyric Theatre Hammersmith).
