The Importance of shoes is a comedy written by James Johnson and directed by Jenny Runacre. Shoe addicts, collectors, sellers and naysayers feature in this Belfast based story of shoes. Stars Jack Bowman, Hayley Doherty Sinead Beary and Daniel Rodriguez.

Featuring extracts from the Mu’allaqat of Antara – a poem embroidered on a cloth of gold and publicly displayed in Mecca in the 7th century.
