New radio plays of 2022
Our latest Wireless Original, inspired by the story of the Minack theatre. Ruby leaves her pandemic struck London theatre to return home to her father’s failing farm. Can the stubborn pair resolve their differences and create something beautiful?
Wireless Theatre had the BEST time working with executive producer Sam Mendes to create this dark and grown up adaptation of Oliver Twist for Audible Originals. An all star cast did a fantastic job of bringing this classic tale to life.

Featured Audio Plays 2022
Wireless Theatre featured various Icebox Radio Theater productions in 2022, including the first three episodes of the Rum Runner Sue series. Sue is a prohibition bar owner in 1920s small town America, and a seriously competent part time detective, enjoyed by many Wireless listeners this year.
This imaginative and moving drama from the mind of Jo Ann Challis charmed not only Wireless, but a huge number of listeners. History has recorded how much love Daphne Du Maurier had for her home, Menabilly. This poignant guest production imagines how Menabilly felt about Daphne.
A dark and disturbing tale, Joe Walsh and the Weight of Despair explores the disturbed mind of a young man with a dangerous imagination.

Icebox Radio Theater created not one, but two fantastic detective series this year. This one is perhaps a little more tongue in cheek than stablemate Rum Runner Sue. Lance Manley had many popular outings on the Wireless Theatre site this year.
