The Unravelling Fantasia of Miss H is a fusion of theatre, opera and in the stage performance, dance, telling the story of music mistress Mary, incarcerated in an asylum for 41 years. Samplers stitched by Mary, on display in the Wakefield Mental Health Museum, inspired writer and composer Red Gray to tell her powerful and tragic tale.

The St Valentine’s Day Murder explores the happenings at the ‘Running out of Fish’ Valentine’s Day speed dating event. Events take an unromantic turn when one of the members of a dating site is murdered. Can detective Jean-Pierre LePoulet solve the murder? What dark secrets are the speed daters hiding? Is anyone really who they seem to be?
. For the third year running, we hosted STAGE FRIGHT to launch the fabulous London Horror Festival. Three plays short listed and performed live to special guest judge Seth Patrick. First up we had Special Delivery by Elizabeth Adlington, which focused on a couple following the delivery of a rather unusual teddy bear. Next came Tears from the Pillow by Gabrielle Wright, a touching yet spine-chilling tale about a man in a coma (we daren’t reveal any more). Finally, Pete Barrett’s Forever Amber told the story of a cantankerous lord with a passion for taxidermy. The award went to Pete Barrett’s FOREVER AMBER, but you can listen to all three productions here.
